Holton – Big Rapids left no room for questions on Monday night as they traveled to Holton and took care of business early.  Big Rapids jumped out to a 35-6 first quarter lead behind the strength of 21 points in the quarter by Quinn Tyson on their way to a 74-32 victory.

The Cardinals were able to get everyone plenty of playing time on the night and received contributions from a number of players.  Tyson ended the game with 28 points, Nick Baldwin chipped in 11 and Jake Hayes had seven points to lead Big Rapids.  Jake Daugherty, Tyler Pellerito and Lucas Armand controlled the boards all night for the Cardinals as well with Dario Williams leading the break offensively.

Big Rapids is back in action on Thursday as they host the Newaygo Lions in a battle of CSAA conference unbeatens.  The Lions enter the game 7-1 overall and 7-0 in the CSAA while the Cardinals are 8-0 overall and 7-0 in CSAA play.  The Freshman game will start at 4:00 followed by the JV  game at 5:30 and the Varsity game wrapping up the night at 7:00 p.m.
